The Lacrosse Association of Nigeria or Nigeria Lacrosse, became a member of the World Lacrosse Family on the 1st of June, 2022. High Prince Adie Thomas Akomaye founded Nigeria Lacrosse in 2019 with just two sticks in a country of over 300 million people. They have done an amazing job with very limited equipment and currently have programs in 27 schools.  It is their goal to have programs over 300 secondary schools and club teams.  They are striving to have a national team by 2023.
